William Patrick Stirling Damerell died 5 April, 2026.
He was born in Wiltshire in April, 1949, son of D.V. Damerell, of Stodham Park, Liss, Hampshire; and married at Chichester, Sussex, 2 July, 1977, the Lady Mary Barbara Carnegie (born 10 February, 1953), second daughter of the 13th Earl of Northesk (1926-1994), and his wife the former Jean Margaret MacRae (1927-1989), a granddaughter maternally of the 4th Marquess of Bristol (1863-1951), by whom he had issue, three sons, Charles Carnegie S. Damerell (born 1980), Thomas Edward Carnegie Damerell (born 1982), and Robert William Carnegie Damerell (born 1985).
