Michael Owen Lidwell died 25 March, 2026, aged 84.
He was born 24 December, 1941, the eldest son of Owen Millwood Lidwell, MA, D.Phil, BSc (1914-2010), and his wife the former Daphne Jenefer Mary Fursdon (1918-2011), scion of the Fursdon of Fursdon landed gentry family, and married in 1972, (Agnes) Naomi Allison (born 1945), daughter of Alexander Bernard Allison (1912-1999), and his wife the former Agnes Margaret Houghton (1905-2001), by whom he had issue, a son, Simon Neil (born 1973), and three daughters, Aline (born 1976), Hannah (born 1979), and Rebekah (born 1984).
