Anne Isabel Grotrian (nee Whyte) died in Toronto, 20 February, 2026, aged 97.
She was born in Toronto, 7 March, 1928, daughter of Robert Sieger Whyte, of Toronto, and his wife the former Robina Johnston; and married in 1960 (div.), Philip Christian Brent Grotrian (born 26 March, 1935), son and heir of Robert Philip Brent Grotrian (1908-1945), and his wife the former Elizabeth Mary Hardy-Wrigley. After her divorce her former husband succeeded as Sir Philip Grotrian, 3rd Baronet, 6 February, 1984, on the death of his uncle, Sir John Grotrian, 2nd Bt (1904-84).
Anne Grotrian leaves issue, a son, Philip (born 9 Apr, 1962).
