Sir (Terence) Reade McConnell, 5th Baronet, died at Limoges, France, 28 November, 2025. He was 66.
He was born 16 November, 1959, the elder son of James Angus McConnell (1933-2018), and his wife the former Elizabeth Jillian Harris, and was a grandson of Sir Robert Melville Terence McConnell, 3rd Baronet (1902-1987).
He succeeded to the baronetcy (cr. UK 1900), on the death of his uncle, Sir Robert McConnell, 4th Bt, 13 July, 2021.
He married 16 November, 1987, Lorel Natalie Willetts, by whom he had issue, a son, James, and a daughter, Kitty (born 8 Sept, 1991). The son, James Alexander McConnell, born 29 August, 1989, succeeds to the baronetcy.
