Sir David Gibson-Craig-Carmichael, 15th & 8th Baronet, died in Santiago, Chile, 13 December, 2025. He was 79.
He was 15th Baronet of Keirhill, Midlothian [N.S., 1702], and the 8th Baronet, of Riccarton, Midlothian [U.K., 1831].
He was born 21 July, 1946, son of Capt Sir Archibald William Henry Gibson-Craig-Carmichael, 14th & 7th Baronet (1917-1969), and his wife the former Rosemary Anita Crew (who died in 1979), and he succeeded to the two baronetcies upon his father's death, 1 December, 1969.
He married in 1973, Patricia Irene Skarnic, daughter of Marcos Skarnic, of Santiago, Chile, by whom he had issue.
His son, Peter William Gibson-Craig-Carmichael (born 29 Dec, 1975), succeeds as 16th and 9th Baronet.
