Joycelyn Kemble Ferrand (née Bubb), who died 14 December, 2025, aged 93, was descended from the Heron Maxwell baronets.
She was born 1932, daughter of Capt Charles Henry Lewis Bubb (1898-1979), of Brook House, Cricklade, Wilts, and his wife the former Elizabeth Laura Kemble (1905-1978); and married 1954, Roger William Ferrand (1930-Jan 2025), scion of that landed gentry family, son of Lieutenant-Colonel Stafford Herbert Ferrand, DSO, MC (1888-1975), and his wife the former Margaret Frances Riddell (1896-1980), scion of the Riddell baronets, by whom she had issue, a son, Charles and a daughter, Victoria.
