The engagement was announced 30 September, 2025, between Julian Nicholas Stevens (born 1980), son of the late Alastair D. Stevens and his late wife the former Karen Angel Edels , formerly of Clifton Hampden, Oxfordshire, and Augusta Louisa Mary Nicholson Steele (born 3 August, 1984), younger daughter of Michael John Nicholson Steele (born 1951), of Angus, and (Alexandra) Paula Mary Steele, of London (born 1954, nee Graham-Watson, scion of that landed gentry family).
