John Maxwell Sanderson (known as Max), scion of the Sanderson baronets, died 17 September, 2025. He was 87.
He was born 15 March, 1938, the eldest son of Derek Maxwell Sanderson (1914-1983), and his wife the former Daphne Elton (1917-2008), scion of the Elton baronets; and married 28 July, 1962, Susan Elizabeth Pye (born 1940), scion of that landed gentry family, daughter of Brigadier Randall Thomas Kellow Pye, DSO, OBE (1904-2002), of Lindfield, co Sussex, and his wife the former Peggy Muriel Sagar-Musgrave-Brooksbank (1909-1999), scion of that landed gentry family, by whom he had a son, Christian (born 20 Apr, 1966), and a daughter, Charlotte (born 20 Oct, 1964).
