The engagement was announced 7 October, 2023, between Scott Christian Petite (born 1995), only son of Christopher William Petite (born 1954), of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire, and his wife the former Hazel Ruth Scott (born 1958), & Harriet Eugenie Sutton (born 30 Dec, 1995), second daughter of Sir David Robert Stton, 10th Baronet (born 26 February, 1960), of Cheselbourne, Dorset, and his former wife Mrs Annette Sutton (nee David), of Charlton Musgrove, Somerset.
