Valerie Seymour (nee Thrower), who died 9 October, 2023, was the widow of Timothy Seymour, and a descendant of the Marquesses of Sligo.
Elisabeth Valerie Thrower was born in 1933, daughter of (William) Rayner Thrower (1902-1981), and his wife the former Violet Beatrice Pollard (1903-1954); and married 19 April, 1958, Timothy Hugh Seymour (1928-1997), son of Almeric Hugh Seymour, CBE (1894-1950), and his wife the former Margaret Kathleen Browne (1898-1984), scion of the Marquesses of Sligo, by whom she had four daughters, Penelope (born 7 May, 1959), Anne (born 17 June, 1961), Fiona (born 5 Aug, 1964), and Joanna (born 5 Aug, 1964).
