The engagement was announced 28 July, 2023, between Gilbert William Frederick Harrap (born 1987), second son of Giles Thresher Harrap (1948-2017), of Bentley, Hampshire, & his wife the former Sona Sophia Gladstone (born 14 June, 1952), scion of that landed gentry family, & Courtney M. Hopkins, daughter of Mr Robert Hopkins of Palm Springs, California, and Mrs Karna Rincon of Santa Barbara, California.
