The life peerage awarded to Benjamin Alexander Gascoigne in Boris Johnson's recent Resignation Honours list has been gazatted in the name, style and title of Baron Gascoigne, of Pendle in the County of Lancashire, 10 July, 2023.
Lord Gascoigne (born 5 March, 1983), served as Political Secretary to the Prime Minister from 2019 to 2020 and the deputy chief of staff to Prime Minister the Rt Hon Boris Johnson from 2021 to 2022.
Gascoigne had also been his private secretary when Johnson was Mayor of London, and also served as an adviser when Johnson was Foreign Secretary.
