The marriage took place 31 December, 2021, between Robert Edward William Gascoyne-Cecil, styled Viscount Cranborne (born 18 December, 1970), eldest son and heir of the 7th Marquess of Salisbury, KG, KCVO (born 30 September, 1946), of Hatfield House, Hertfordshire, and his wife the former Hannah Ann Stirling (born 29 May, 1944), & Constance Mary Alabama Watson (born 24 July, 1990), descended from the Earls of Onslow, daughter of Julian Watson, and his wife the former Margaret Sophia Laura Waugh (born 20 June, 1962), daughter of Auberon Alexander Waugh (1939-2001).
The bride is a granddaughter of Vice-Admiral Sir Philip Alexander Watson, KBE, LVO (1919-2009), and a great-granddaughter of the novelist Evelyn Waugh (1903-1966), and his wife Laura Herbert (1916-1973), scion of the Earls of Carnarvon.
