Julia Mary Twist, who died 29 November, 2021, aged 87, was a scion of the Rowley baronets. She was born 7 January, 1934, daughter of Charles Donovan Rowley [1889-1935], and his wife the Hon Irene Evelyn Beatrice Molesworth [1895-1949], daughter of the 9th Viscount Molesworth [1867-1947].
She married 19 February, 1955, Anthony Frederick Twist [born 1929], son of Capt Wilfred Bernard Twist [1885-1963], of Blandford, Dorset, by his wife the former Mary Alison Rowbotham [1900-1965], by whom she had issue.
