_. Alice Emily Rose Procopé, who died 17 March, 2021, aged 42, was a granddaughter of the late 2nd Viscount Ingleby. She had been suffering from cancer.
The journalist, known by her maiden name Alice Horton, was the girlfriend of Tom Parker Bowles, son of HRH The Duchess of Cornwall.
She was born 11 October, 1978, as Alice Emily Rose Horton, elder daughter of (Gavin) Tobias Alexander Winterbottom Horton (formerly Winterbottom), of North Yorkshire, by his wife the former Hon. Fiona Catherine Peake (born 24 January, 1955), eldest daughter of the 2nd and last Viscount Ingleby (1926-2008), of Snilesworth, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, by his wife the late Susan Gladys Landale [died 10 Feb, 1996].
She married Robert Hjalmar Procopé [born 1974], elder son of the late Mr Fredrik Procope and Mrs Procopé, of North Yorkshire by whom she had issue, Katherine, Wilfred and Georgina.
Her husband is a grandson maternally of Sir Edward Wigram, 8th Baronet [1913-2003].
