_. Rosemary Anne Philips [nee Cator], who died 13 May, 2020, aged 96, was a scion of the Cator landed family, of Woodbastwick.
She was born 31 May, 1923, the only daughter of Sir Geoffrey Edmund Cator, CMG [1884-1973], of Porch House, Lacock, Wiltshire, by his wife the former Elizabeth Margaret Wynne Mostyn [died 1967], scion of the Mostyn barons.
She married 23 April, 1955, David Alexander Evander Claude Philips [b 1913], scion of the Philips landed family, formerly of Heybridge, son of Capt Harry Vaughan Philips, MBE, by his wife the former Marjorie Barbara Ruth McIver, dau of Sir Lewis McIver, 1st and last Baronet.
Mrs Philips leaves 2 sons, Richard and Simon.
