_. Princess Giovanna Maria Carolina Annunziata Rospigliosi, who died 16 April, 2020, aged 84, was a scion of the Earls of Newburgh.
She was born 16 June, 1935, daughter of Prince Guglielmo Camillo Carlo Rospigliosi [1908-90], by his first wife the former Hon Helen Mary Grace Lyon-Dalberg-Acton [1910-2001], daughter of the 2nd Baron Acton [1870-1924].
Princess Giovanna was in remainder to the Scottish Earldom of Newburgh, created in 1660, The earldom with the additional peerages, the Viscountcy of Kynnaird and the Lordship of Levingstone, passed into an Italian noble family in 1814.
Princess Giovanna married 15 September, 1961 [divorced 1989], Giles Frere Wordsworth [b 10 May 1934, died 1992], son of Andrew S. Wordsworth by his wife the former Helen Fletcher.
She leaves issue, Andrew Wordsworth [born 1962], Catherine Wordsworth [born 1964], and Anne Wordsworth [born 1966].
