The engagement was announced 4 January, 2006, between Justin C.F. Spink, son of Mr & Mrs Anthony Spink, of Woolstone Mill House, Faringdon, Oxfordshire, & Frances Marcella Dorrien-Smith (b. 1980), scion of the BLG family of Smith-Dorrien-Smith, of Tresco Abbey, daughter of Robert Arthur Smith-Dorrien-Smith (b. 15 May, 1951), by his former wife, Lady Emma Windsor Clive (b. 1954, who ahs resumed her maiden name), daughter of the 3rd Earl of Plymouth.
Frances Dorrien-Smith's grandfather, Lt-Cdr Thomas Mervyn Smith-Dorrien-Smith (b. 1913), married 21 July, 1945, H.S.H. Princess Tamara, eldest daughter of Squadron-Leader H.S.H. Prince Michael Imeretinsky, RAFVR.
