The engagement has been announced between William Sonsino, younger son of Mr and Mrs Victor Sonsino, of Ravenstone, Buckinghamshire, and Lucia Jane Heriot Maitland (b. 1981), scion of the Earls of Lauderdale, eldest daughter of Lewis Dalgleish Heriot Maitland, TD (b. 1943), of Errol Park, Perthshire, by his wife, the former Prudence Jane Norris.
