Sir Nigel Mobbs

Sir Nigel Mobbs, Kt, Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, since 1997; Chairman of Slough Estates since 1976; Chairman of Bovis Homes; and a Director of Barclays Bank died........He was aged 68.
Gerald Nigel Mobbs was born 22 September, 1937, the son of Gerald Aubrey Mobbs by his wife Elizabeth Lanchester, and was educated at Marlborough College, and at Christ Church, Oxford.

He married in 1961, the Hon. Pamela Jane Marguerite Berry, second daughter of the 2nd Viscount Kemsley, by whom he had issue, a son, Christopher, b. 1965, and twin daughters, Virginia and Penelope, b. 1968.
