The engagement was announced 25 October, 2005, between Archibald EDward (Archie) Ruggles-Brise (b. 1979), scion of the Ruggles-Brise Baronets (cr. 1935), eldest son of Timothy Edward Ruggles-Brise (b. 1945), of Fichingfield, Essex, and Mrs Ruggles-Brice & Anna C. French, daughter of Mr & Mrs Robin French, of Lavenham, Suffolk.
Archie's father is heir presumptive to the baronetcy of his uncle, Sir John Ruggles-Brise, 2nd Bt
