The engagement was announced in December, 2005, between Alexander E.S. Gosling, only son of Christopher Gosling, of Byham Hall, Little Maplestead, Essex, (scion of that BLG family???) and Mrs Gosling, and Isabelle-Sophie L.D. Cronin, only daughter of Mr and Mrs David Cronin, of Le Château de Montot, Côte d'Or, France.
