The engagement was announced 10 November, 2022, between James Alexander Christian Staib (born 1990), son of John Staib, and his former wife the former Hon Mary Clare Kinnaird (born 26 March, 1960), scion of the Lords Kinnaird, & Daisy Elizabeth Wigin (born 1991), daughter of Mark R. Wigin (born 1961), and his wife the former Rachel M. Woodley (born 1963).
James Staib is a grandson of the 13th Lord Kinnaird (1912-1997).
