Capt Robin FitzRoy Somerset, MBE, who died 21 October, 2022, aged 92, was a scion of the Dukes of Beaufort.
He was born 21 May, 1930, son of Maj Alan FitzRoy Somerset (1902-1940), and his wife the former Nell Lauder Pyman (who died 1951); and married in 1977, Sarah Marguerite Mills, daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir Charles Mills, KCB (1914-2006), and his wife the former Anne Cumberlege, by whom he had issue, a son Charles (born 1981), and a daughter, Anne (born 1978).
