Simon Patrick Crichton, who died 1 April, 2022, aged 65, was a scion of the Earls of Erne.
He was born 28 August, 1956, third son of Colonel Richard John Vesey Crichton [1916-2002], late the Coldstream Guards, and his wife the former Yvonne Avril Catherine Worthington [d 2017]; and married in 1983, Fiona Jane Midwood, daughter of Colin Midwood, by whom he had issue, two sons, Edward [born 1989], Charles [born 1992], and a daughter, Georgina [born 1986].
