The engagement was announced 1 April, 2022, between Sidney John Hiscox [born 24 January, 1993], youngest son of Robert Ralph Scrymgeour Hiscox, of Rainscombe Park, Marlborough, Wiltshire, and his wife the former Lady Julia Elizabeth Meade [born 31 December, 1953], scion of the Earls of Clanwilliam, & Claudia Suzanne T. Lloyd [born 1992], eldest daughter of John Hardress Wilfred Lloyd, CBE [born 30 September, 1951], of West Hendred, Oxfordshire, head of that Irish landed family, and his wife the former Sarah L. Wallace.
Sidney Hiscox is a grandson maternally of the late 6th Earl of Clanwilliam [1914-1989]
