The engagement was announced 25 February, 2022, between Charlie E. Richards, youngest son of Mr & Mrs Philip Richards, of Hammersmith, London, and Tara Rosamund Gladstone [born 12 October, 1992], second daughter of Sir Charles Angus Gladstone, 8th Baronet [born 11 April, 1964], of Hawarden Castle, Flintshire, and Glen Dye Lodge, Kincardineshire, and his wife the former Caroline Mali Thomas.
Tara Gladstone is descended from the great Victorian prime minister William Gladstone:-
