Rebecca Anne Priestley, MVO [born 1982, née Deacon] wife of Adam Alexander Priestley [born 1980], gave birth to a son, Patrick Michael Walter [Paddy], 27 January, 2022, a brother for William Michael Alexander [Billy], born 4 July, 2019.
Mrs Priestley was awarded the MVO in 2017 for her work as secretary to HRH The Duchess of Cambridge, GCVO. She is the daughter of Maj Michael John Deacon [1947-86], by his wife the Rev Selina Trousdell [b 1952], a great-great granddaughter of the 7th Earl of Bessborough, and thus a kinswoman of HRH The Duke of Cambridge, KG.
The Priestleys married in 2017. Adam is a son of Commander Michael J Priestley, RN, by his wife the former Linda Shade.
