The engagement was announced 5 February, 2022, between Nicholas Andrew Reid [born 1981], son of [Gavin] Ian Reid, of Dorchester on Thames, Co Oxford, and his wife the former Hon Angela Margaret Amherst Cecil [born 16 May, 1955], and Hannah E. Smith, daughter of Mr & Mrs David Smith, of Bournemouth, Dorset.
Nicholas Reid is a grandson maternally of the 3rd Baron Amherset of Hackney [1912-80].
