_.Capt James Wolfe Murray, of the Seaforth Highlanders and the Queen's Own Highlanders, scion of the Murray baronets of Blackbarony, died 25 March, 2021. He was 89.
Capt Wolfe Murray was a member of the Queen's Body Guard for Scotland [Royal Company of Archers].
He was born 22 July, 1931, son of Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Alexander Wolfe Murray, DSO, MC [1889-1973], by his wife the former Isobel Mary Baxter.
He married 1stly, 6 February, 1961 [div. 1969], Baroness Catherina Ingrid Madalaine, daughter of Baron Eugen Fredrik Christer Con Stedingk, of Ullaberg, Stjaürnhov, Sweden; married 2ndly, 1976, Sally Ann, only daughter of Eric Gordon Bean, of Burnside, Struy, Inverness-shire, and had issue by both wives.
