_. Anthony Tulloch Murly-Gotto died 2 February, 2021. He was 78.
Born 1942. Educated at Harrow School. Gained Short Service Commission from Mons Officer Cadet School, later converted to a Regular Commission in the Royal Fusiliers. Served in British Army in Cyprus 1962, Germany 1963-1966, Middle East (Gulf) 1967- 1968, Hong Kong 1969-1971 and Northern Ireland 1971. Married 4 January, 1974, Eve Jennifer Greenwell [1939-2010], scion of the Greenwell baronets, daughter of Lt-Cdr Whitfield Ava Aynsley Greenwell [1907-77], by his wife the former Violet Rosemary Evelyn Turner [died 1988]. He married 2ndly, 1981, Penelope V. Ohlson.
He leaves a daughter, Antonia [born 15 July, 1975], from his first marriage, and a son, Capt James Tulloch Murly-Gotto [born 1984], late the Scots Guards, from his second marriage.
