The engagement was announced 15 September, 2026, between the Hon John Michael Patrick Caspar Warrender (born 1 June, 1996), the only son and heir of the 3rd Baron Bruntisfield (born 9 January, 1949), of Bleichheim, Germany, and his wife the former Baroness Walburga Elizabeth Sidoni Michaela von Twickel (born 1952), and Antonia S. Schoeller, the eldest daughter of Dr Philipp and Mrs Schoeller of Düren, Germany.
