Brigadier Anthony Chester Vivian, CBE, died 13 September, 2026. He was 93.
He was sometime Colonel of the Royal Welch Fusiliers, and awarded the CBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours, 1982.
He was born in 1933, a son of Major Gilbert Llewellyn Vivian (1904-1965), and his wife the former Kathleen Norah Josephine Chitty (1905-1981).
He married 14 June, 1967, Jacqueline Wingfield (born 22 March, 1936), scion of the Viscounts Powerscourt, daughter of Maj Edward William Rhys Wingfield (1905-1984), and his wife the Lady Norah Beryl Cayzer Jellicoe (1910-2003), daughter of Admiral of the Fleet John Rushworth Jellicoe, 1st Earl Jellicoe, GCB,, OM, GCVO, SGM, DL (1859 – 1935).
