The engagement was announced 25 September, 2026, between Charles Edward Savory (born 1981), eldest son of Nigel Rudolph Savory (born 1953), of Thorpland, Norfolk, and his wife the former Annabel Clare Leslie Melville (born 18 July, 1956), scion of the Earls of Leven &Melville, and Emily R. Lewis (born 1984), eldest daughter of James Lewis, of Eye, Suffolk, and his wife the Hon Felicity Nickson, daughter of the Baron Nickson, KBE (born 27 November, 1929), life peer.
It is Charles Lewis's second marriage. In 2010 he married Lucy Edwina Regan, by whom he has issue.
