The engagement was announced 25 September, 2026, between Lieutenant George Nicholas Alfred Lechmere (born 22 April, 1998), middle son of Sir Nicholas Anthony Hungerford Lechmere, 8th Baronet (born 24 April, 1960), of Hanley Castle, Worcestershire, and his wife the former Caroline Jane Gahan (born 1960), & India Tallulah Humphries (born 1998), twin daughter of Jonathan Richard Mungo Humphries (born 1970), of Woking, Surrey, and his wife the former Bernice Annette Russell (born 1966).
