The engagement was announced 23 September, 2026, between Edward Peter Olver (born 1980, son of Jeremy William (Jake) Olver (born 1953), of Sands Court, Gloucestershire, by his wife the former Jame Holmes Drewry (born 1955), and Daisy Sophia Dodd-Noble (born 1990), descended from the Earls of Cork & Orrery, daughter of Patrick Robin (Paddy) Dodd-Noble (born 10 November, 1951), of London, and his wife the former Julia Leys Geddes (born 1957).
Daisy's sister Eliza is a goddaughter of Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.
