Sara Cator, who has died at her home at Woodbastwick, Norfolk, aged 70, was wife of Henry Cator, scion of that landed gentry family.
She was born Sara Elizabeth Keeling, 6 July, 1954, with an interesting lineage, daughter of Brian Patrick Morgan Keeling (1927-1990), and his wife the former Elizabeth Frances Hanbury-Williams (born 6 December, 1929), scion of that landed gentry family.
Sara's maternal grandfather, Sir John Coldbrook Hanbury-Williams, CVO (1892-1965), married 1 November, 1928, Princess Zenaida Mikhailovna Cantacuzene (1908-1980), daughter of Maj-Gen Prince Mikhail Mikhailovitch Cantacuzene Count Speransky (1875-1955), and his wife Julia Grant (1876-1975), a granddaughter of United States President Ulysses S. Grant (1822-1885), 18th President of the United States, 1869-77.
Sara Keeling married 6 February, 1982, Henry Greville Cator (born 26 March, 1956), second son of John Cator (1926-1999), of Woodbastwick Hall, Norfolk, head of that landed gentry family, by his 1st wife the former Elizabeth Jane Kerrison (1932-1992), by whom she had a son, Thomas (born 14 Oct, 1989), and three daughters, Henrietta (born 10 Oct, 1983), Charlotte (1985-1986), and Sabrina (born 16 Jan, 1987).
