Gillian (Gee) Jones-Parry (nee Stern)m who died 23 July, 2024, aged 94, was the widow of Capt Michael Jones-Parry, head of that landed gentry family.
She was born Gillian Stern in 1930, daughter of Reginald Carter Stern (1899-1975), of Arden, Weybridge, and his wife the former Doris Mary Simpson (1900-1978); and married 24 May, 1952, Capt (Thomas Parry) Michael Hughes-Morgan (born 27 April, 1928), second son of Sir John Vernon Hughes-Morgan, 2nd Baronet (1900-1969), and his wife Lucie Margaret Jones-Parry (1897-1987).
Her husband assumed by deed poll, 1 March, 1961, the surname of Jones-Parry in lieu of his patronymic, & died 24 February, 1982, aged 53.
Gee Jones-Parry leaves two daughters, Caroline (born 1953), and Sarah (born 1961), and was predeceased by her only son, David (1954-2014).
