Angela Mary Pelly, who died 4 August, 2024, aged 97, was the widow of Lieutenant-Commander David Cecil Pelly, scion of the Pelly baronets.
She was the former Angela Mary Gandell, daughter of Capt. Wilfrid Pearse Gandell, CBE, RN (1886-1986), and his wife the former Lilian Amabel Marian Campbell, BEM (1894-1982); and married 29 July, 1950, David Cecil Pelly (born 17 March, 1922), eldest son of Capt Gilbert Cecil Pelly (1892-1961), & his wife Constance Margery Glazebrook (1892-1952), by whom she had issue, four sons, Richard, Nicholas, Patrick and Gilbert, and a daughter, Alexandra.
Her husband died 8 July, 2003.
