The engagement was announced 18 February, 2023, between William H. Haxby, younger son of Mr and Mrs Adrian Haxby, of Putney, London, and Harriet Fiona Hedges (born 25 January, 1994), eldest daughter of James Killingworth Hedges (born 1958), of Shaftesbury, co Dorset, and his wife the former Emma Mary Pym (born 25 June, 1963), scion of that landed gentry family.
