(Robert Eben) Neil Pike, who died 10 February, 2023, aged 77, was a scion of that Irish landed family, born in 1945, second son of Lt-Colonel Godfrey Eben Pike, DSO, MBE, Grenadier Guards, and his wife the former Caroline Fox Hanbury (1921-1984), scion of that landed gentry family; and married 25 March, 1968, the Lady Romayne Aileen Brabazon (born 26 May, 1943), daughter of the 14th Earl of Meath (1910-1998), and his wife the former Elizabeth Mary Bowlby (1913-2009), scion of that landed gentry family, by whom he had issue, a daughter, Tamsin (born 1972), and a son, Harry (born 1974).
