The engagement was announced 5 January, 2023, between James Canning Loyd (born 1 September, 1988), scion of the Loyd landed gentry family formerly of Monk's Orchard, elder son of David William Arnold Loyd (born 4 January, 1949), of Mildenhall, Wiltshire, and his wife the former Anabel Laura Dorothy Morrison (born 31 Dec, 1955), scion of the Barons Margadale, & Stephanie Rachael May Wah Kwan, daughter of Mr and Mrs Steve Kwan of Whitebridge, New South Wales.
