The Rev Honor Mary Meynell [nee Davis], who died in September, 2022, was a daughter of Major J.H.A. Davis, of Ballysculty co Antrim; and married, 11 June, 1960, Godfrey Meynell, MBE [born 20 July, 1934], head of that landed gentry family, of Meynell Langley, Derbyshire, son of Captain Godfrey Meynell, VC, MC [1904-1935], and his wife the former Sophia Patricia Lowis [1905-1991], by whom she had issue, a son, Godfrey [born 14 Jan, 1964], and two daughters, Diana Violet [born 14 Jan 1962], and Catherine [born 1966].
