The engagement was announced 3 September 2022, between Benedict Xavier Hatvany [born 22 July, 1994], son of Judge Peter Galbraith Mark Hatvany, of Box, Wiltshire, and his wife the former Anastasia Cecilia Mary Swan [born 26 July, 1966], scion of that landed gentry family, & Sophie Mary Burton [born 7 July, 1993], twin daughter of Charles Philip Henry Burton [born Dec, 1962], of Barcombe, East Sussex, and his wife the former Susanna L. Buller.
Benedict Hatvany is a grandson maternally of the late Sir Conrad Marshall Swan, KCVO [1924-2019], sometime Garter Principal King of Arms, and descended from the Earls of Iddesleigh.
