Caroline, Lady Ley, who died 29 August, 2022, aged 85, was widow of Sir Ian Francis Ley, 5th Baronet [1934-2017].
She was born Caroline Margaret Errington, at Bristol, in Oct 1936, daughter of Maj George Henry Errington [1908-89], and his wife the former Margaret Kathleen Bushman; and married 29 July, 1957, Ian Francis Ley [born 12 June, 1934], son of Sir Francis Ley, 5th Baronet [1907-95], and his wife the former Violet Geraldine Johnson [died 1991]. Her husband succeeded his father as 5th baronet, in May, 1995, and died 29 July, 2017.
Caroline, Lady Ley, leaves issue, a son, Sir Christopher Ian Ley, 6th Baronet [born 2 Dec, 1962], and a daughter Virginia Mary [born 1 May, 1960].
