Julia Kathleen Carruthers (nee Gorst), died 31 August, 2022, aged 96.
She married in 1954, as his second wife, Squadron Leader Hew Douglas Carruthers, RAF [1914-2008], scion of that landed gentry family, son of Lieutenant-Col Francis John Carruthers,CB [1868-1945], and his wife the former Olive Christian Johnstone-Douglas (1878-1977).
