Sir Mervyn Medlycott, 9th [and last] Baronet, died 22 June, 2021. He was 74.
Mervyn Tregonwell Medlycott was born 20 February, 1947, son of Thomas Anthony Hutchings Medlycott [1909-70], and his wife the former Cecilia Mary Eden [died 2002].
Mervyn Medlycott, who was unmarried, succeeded to the baronetcy [created in 1808], on the demise of his uncle, Sir James Medlycott, 8th Baronet, in 1986.
On his death, at the Manor House, Sandford Orcas, Dorset, the baronetcy became extinct.
