Lorenzo Giulio Oreste Scaretti, who died in Rome, 20 September, 2021, aged 84, was born in 1937, a son of Enrico Scaretti and his wife the former Marjorie Rose Jebb [1903-82], a descendant of the Viscounts Melville.
Lorenzo Scaretti married in 1977, Susanna Polednikova, who died in 1991.
