Edward Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, who died 30 September, 2021, aged 93, was a scion of the Brown baronets.
He was born 22 July, 1928, son of Lieutenant-Colonel Geoffrey Benedict Clifton-Brown [1899-1983], and his wife the former Robina Margaret Hill Sutton [1898-1978]; and married 1stly, 17 Oct, 1953 [div 1958] Jillian Mary Walkinshaw [1932-2009], descended from the Barons Basing, daughter of David Walkinshaw [1900-1967], and his wife the former Barbara Betty Coode Coode-Adams [1906-95], scion of that landed gentry family; married 2ndly, 17 Sept, 1960, Sarah Simonetta Francis, daughter of Roger Herbert Francis.
He leaves a son, James and a daughter, Margaret, from his first marriage, and two daughters from his second marriage, Louise and Sarah.
