William is a son of Nicholas Shelley Tanner [born 7 January, 1955], and his wife the former Melanie Anne Challis [born 1957]. Lizzie is a daughter of the late Brigadier Alasdair William Buist Loudon, OBE [1956-2010], and his wife the former Honor Goodden.
